| St. Bernardus, a brewery in Watou, produces a beer called St. Sixtus. St. Sixtus is a Trappist monistary near the town of Westvleteren, which is close to Watou where St. Bernardus is located. Years ago, the monistary gave the brewey permission to brew a beer with the monistary's name on it; hence St. Bernardus St. Sixtus. St. Sixtus continues to produce its own beer as one of the few remaining trappist breweries.
