10/29/2007 8:29:50 AM  Greg  Fort Wayne, IN  We took a road trip to Lima, OH this past weekend and I found the last two cases the store had in stock. They said they might not get anymore in until December. I have been looking for LK for at least 4 years. I just figured they stopped making them. The gal at the store told me Little Kings were backrupt during that period, but recently just got bought by another brewery and started brewing them again. I'm happy to now sit back and enjoy my Little Kings knowing we should see more in the future.

4/7/2008 5:52:56 PM  Joyce  Georgia  I am originally from Cincinnati Ohio and I'm pretty sure you can still get Little Kings there. Go to Cincinnati, as if it isn't already a great place to go, you can search for little kings!

4/19/2008 10:28:34 PM  Mike  Michigan  Brings back memories from high school in Fairfield, OH. Schoenling Little Kings were the best. Hadn't had them in 25 years but last time I visited my mom, I went through a drive-in beer stand and asked for "Schoenling Little Kings" - was surprised that they were just called Little Kings now. Not sure what happened to Schoenling. But I got them and plan to pickup at least a case whenever I head south. Unique taste and package just take me back like no other. Bob Shreve's show, sponsored by Schoenling, was the Past Prime Playhouse. Thta brought a smile.
4/19/2008 10:40:37 PM  Mike  Michigan  Hey, per the previous post, was it WEBN that used the green frog for a mascot? So many of us had that sticker on our cars and our radios tuned.

7/3/2008 7:10:43 AM  Ron  Nebraska  I use to work in a liquor store in OKC back in the early 80's they stock LK there. Back then they had the 8 pack 7 oz bottle, 6 pack 12 oz and quart bottle that had like a thin plastic form wrap around them. A buddy of mine back before I worked at liquor store always had the LK 7 oz bottle he even glue the bottle cap to the turn knobs on his car stereo, from my very fist drink I fell in love with them. I use buy an 8 pack once a week or whenever I stop at liquor store. I also like Corona I remember back when I lived in Calf you could always find them pretty cheap now days I don't think you can buy a 6 pack for less than $7 outragous right, lol I now live in a tiny town in Nebraska but every time I go to OKC I'll stop at Knob Hill liquor on SW 44th street & Blackwelder, right by a 7-11 and buy a case or two 7 oz's to take back home with me. I hadn't seen any LK in some stores here but next time I go to McCook I'll stop at few places and see if they have LK Wish me luck. Peace Out people and keep it real.

I was born/raised in Cincinnati, so the 7 oz Little King green bottle is an icon. I haven't seen it anywhere in stores for years, until.......just two days ago I was in the Kroger store on Rt 28 in Milford, OH and I saw/purchased an 8-pak of the original Little Kings Cream Ale. I noticed it's brewed in Wilkes Barre, PA. Cost was $4.99 for the 8-pak. I plan on going back for more.
8/5/2008 12:34:56 PM  Mr. Sharp  Florida Keys  I used to drink Little Kings when I was in high school in Defiance Ohio. I now live in the Florida Keys and would love to find a place to buy it today. Does anyone else remember the poem on the backside of the label? It could be read through the bottle and said something about blue-collar workers and ended with something like we salute you, you are the little kings. I would love to find a copy of that poem if anyone has it.
8/22/2008 3:08:41 PM  Tom  Milford, OH  Just want to update everyone that I've been seeing more and more places in Milford that sell Little Kings. As I reported at the beginning of August 2008, I first saw it at 2 different Kroger stores, selling it in an 8-pak. I just bought a case of it at a store called the Wine Connection, on the corner of Rt 28 and Branch Hill - Guinea for $13.99. That's not a bad price, and works out to be about $0.60 for a 7 oz bottle. As a matter of fact, I'm enjoying one right now as I'm writing this post.
