Latest Sample Date: 2/7/1996
Appearance: Honey brown, dark thick head.
Additional Info:
Brewed as the Winter beer for 95-96, and called simply "Brown Ale", its is a Belgian Ale recipe.
Tasting Impressions:
Very much a Belgian Ale, although they don't call it one. Very creamy & thick. Quite sweet. Missing the Belgian Airiness of others. Yeasty. Needs a bit of work to measue up to a true Belgian Ale. A little bit of a bite. Slightly sedimenty.
