Latest Sample Date: 5/27/2008
Appearance: Dark brown, clear
Additional Info:
1st sampled in 1997, updated in 2008. Same rating both times. How about that for consistency?
Tasting Impressions:
Very tart and sour. Extremely dry. Very Lambic tasting. Less sweet than the other two Rodenback beers, although still cherry tasting. Becomes horrible as it gets warm - almost gets a 1 star rating. Starts with a sharp bite. Has a heavy sediment feel. I know this beer is supposedly famous, but it sure as hells isn't because of the taste. Tastes like ass. There, I said it.
